Big Daddy's Orlando

You can hear the bass rattling the brick on Corrine Drive before you even hit the sidewalk outside Big Daddy's. The door guy's usually scanning IDs with a half empty drink in hand while a wall of pure noise hits you the second that heavy door swings open.

Inside, it's dark as hell and smells like spilled whiskey and old wood. This isn't some sleek downtown lounge with craft cocktails, it's a gritty neighborhood staple where locals crowd around a tiny stage. The mic's been breathed on by half of Audubon Park, and nobody cares if you can actually sing or if you're completely tone deaf by your third round.

The crowd doesn't judge because they're too busy screaming lyrics over the speakers or waiting for their turn to grab the cord. You'll sweat through your shirt by midnight, and you can't hear yourself think over the applause. Grab a cheap beer at the bar, find a spot near the back wall, and just yell your heart out when your name finally gets called.
